Wow, time sure flies when you are writing code.

Lots to blog about, but this one will be short. We just launched http://www.pcapr.net, a place to upload, view, edit, comment and yes, transform pcap’s. All you need is a browser. Registration is currently by invite only, but we hope to open that up soon.

If you are logged in here’s what you can do on pcapr:

  • Reorder packets
  • Fragment packets
  • Reassemble TCP streams
  • Rewrite TCP streams (both IPv4 and IPv6)
  • Extract embedded HTTP content
  • Finally, generate stateless DoS on any one of the 35000+ packets

If you want to register, send me a note and we’ll get your invite going.

BTW, if you haven’t checked out Couch DB, you should. Finally a database without having to remember inner, outer, crazy joins. Fits me just right, especially since I’m command-line challenged. And yes, jQuery rocks.
